Hello my loves,
It is the beginning of February, which means it is time for Valentine’s Day Prep. While my totally cynical side knows this holiday is just a made up over hyped holiday to make the chocolate, flowers and card companies money. I cannot help but find myself excited to celebrate it. Oxymoron I know. My husband and I have been married for almost 9 years come this May, so keeping the magic alive is something that definitely is a priority for us. I totally believe little notes, sweet gestures, making time to talk and hangout every week throughout the year it is really important for a relationship; as is of course date nights. My husband and I usually plan a date night on the day or a little getaway around that time. This year we are going to NYC, which is beyond exciting because it is also NYFW. I cannot wait to go and experience NYC in the winter and during Fashion Week. Anyways, Valentine’s Day, no matter what, is such a cute and fun excuse to do something sweet for your loved one and treat yourself to a little date night action.
