Did someone say Rose?

January 9, 2018

No no, I’m not talking about the Bachelor. Although, I will say Becka’s date when she met Rachel Zoe is literally what my dreams are made of. Moving on,  It’s been super cold here in San Diego, and this cold has been wreaking havoc on my skin. My skin has been so dry and feels so tight, lately.  That’s when rose comes to play. Rose is my secret weapon in the winter.

Why, you ask?

Well, Rose is amazing for your skin.

-It is super moisturizing and hydrates skin

-Has Antibacterial properties

-Has anti-inflammatory properties and full of Antioxidants

-Tones skin and helps balance your skin’s Ph

-Brightens and revitalizes skin

-Very relaxing and the rose scent is used in  Ayurvedic medicine to help soothe and calm the mind and skin.

Sounds amazing right, It totally is!!!

There are so many of my favorite products on the market that contain rose

First up is the Peter Thomas Roth  Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask

This mask one of my favorites of all time. It is so gentle and refreshing.

It is described as, “A cooling, soothing gel to help counteract visible signs of aging for younger-looking skin. With state-of-the-art breakthrough stem cell technology, rose stem cells are blended with rose extracts to help counteract visible signs of aging, including the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, dehydration, dullness, and sagging. This powerful Gel Mask strengthens and tones, revealing silky soft, radiant, beautiful, and youthful-looking skin.” (sephora.com)

After using this mask my skin feels so soft and hydrated, it’s the best feeling ever. I sometimes will keep this on overnight, and I swear I wake up in the morning GLOWING!! Like intense radiant glow! I love this stuff, you guys!

Next up is By Terry Celluarose Dual Exfoliation Scrub

According to Revolve.com, “By Terry Cellularose Dual Exfoliation Scrub performs like a resurfacing micro-peel to refine, smooth skin texture, and restore radiance. This ultra-mild formula works on two levels – deep down, radiance-activating White Rose Native Cells stimulate cellular exchange and eliminate toxins, brightening dull complexions.”

This scrub is my go to on days where I feel like my skin is dry, but I still need to exfoliate. It’s very gentle and super effective.

This lip balm is definitely in my top 3 all-time favorite lip balm.  It is so moisturizing and will heal any dry or chapped lips so fast.  I even put this on my cuticles, and if I’m in a real hurry, I’ll use it on my elbows or knees. Bye Ashy!

I also am obsessed with Rosewater as a toner. These two are my absolute favorites.

orrrrrr you can always make my DIY version of Rosewater Toner.

All you need is Roses and filtered water! Hayyyy!
