Into my Cups

July 31, 2018

Hello, my Beauties!

I started working out with a trainer again to get ready for a healthy pregnancy(if and when it happens), and omg! I am so sore now! #pleasehelp
I am also, trying to put all the finishing touches on our house for a couple summer dinner parties I’m having. Of course, I will share this all with you! I also have a post coming up all about my trip to France! I’m so excited to post and re-live my experience with you guys!

On to Skincare Tuesday! CUPPING -Facial cupping that is. I am OBsessed!

-What is it-

Cupping is an ancient skincare practice that involves suction cups to suck up the skin to encourage circulation and relieve muscle tension. It even claims to help with headaches.

-What does it do?

Beauty-wise, cupping claims to reduce puffiness, softens fine lines, wrinkles and stimulates collagen production.

-How does it work?

– cleanse face and apply your favorite skin oil. I love rosehip oil or Dr. Colbert Illumino oil

–squeeze tube and apply to skin to create suction and suck up the skin into the tube.

—gently glide tube along your skin in  an upward and outward motion toward your ear and then down your neck to encourage lymphatic drainage

—-move along your jawline and move down your neck

—–repeat this movement on each section of the face- 3x

—— I usually do this about 2-3x a week at night

-Results-
I really like facial cupping. First of all, I feel it relaxes me. I definitely feel it relieves my facial tension– which I have a lot of. I love how my skin feels and looks afterward. It looks so luminous and plumped. I really enjoy adding cupping into my skincare regime.

Would you try cupping? let me know below!
