Weekly Favorites 10.14.15

Hi Everyone!

It’s been a hot minute since I have blogged about my weekly faves, so I figured I would do one this week. So I am going to Spain next month, which I am so excited about but there is much to do before that especially shopping. So this week’s favorite will include some fashion items along with other random stuff.

First up, this super cute a-line mini skirt from Zara. The  material is so luxe and feels expensive, which is always a plus.

Along the same line, this next skirt is similar to the first, except its’ suede-like material and it was $25 also from Zara.  I love these skirts, they are so versatile, so easy to dress up or down and make weather appropriate.

Hunter green skirt

(so obviously  I am a little obsessed with skirts… alright!?) This next skirt is genuine suede and is absolutely gorgeous in person.  It is seamed which has an instant slimming effect (DOUBLE WIN) I love brown skirts because they are so easy to style and a departure from the normal black.

Let’s move on from skirts to shoes.  These were sent to me in the Dailylook elite box and I just loved them. These Kristen Cavallari for Chinese Laundry sandals are perfect for fall days especially here in Cali, where it is still too warm for boots.  The chunky heel  is so comfortable and adds a casualness to the shoe. Are you ready for beauty?

Ok my two favorite lip products I have been loving lately are both by NYX.

This is the NYX High Voltage Lipstick. The color reminds me of OCC’s Black Dahlia. The formula is so soft and comfortable on the lips. The color is amazing but watch out it is easily smudgable.

Next is the NYX Soft Matte lip cream in Copenhagen. This color is gorgeous berry, perfect for the fall. I have been on the hunt for this forever and have finally found it.

Last but definitely not least are the cutest cups ever, which are totally season appropriate which is very exciting for this girl.

These plaid cups from Target are my favorite buy ever! First off they are adorable and they were $3!!!! LIKE WHAT!? I’m obsessed. You can bet this Thursday I will be sipping some Salted Caramal Chai tea from my super new plaid cups watching TGIT! lol!

I recently saw out this recipe from Sweetcsdesigns.com for a virgin Moscow Mules, of course I tweaked it a little and it was perfection.

NON ALCOHOLIC MOSCOW MULES

INGREDIENTS
1 ounce lime juice
½ cup  ginger beer (which is nonalcoholic)
1 teaspoon simple syrup
2 ounces sparkling water, tonic or club soda
ice cubes- 3 to 5 depending on your preference

(a little lemon and ginger beer in the ice cube slots works well to keep the drink from getting watered down)
INSTRUCTIONS
Add all ingredients in a glass and stir well.
Garnish with a slice of lime, small slice of ginger or mint.
Don’t use a shaker for the non alcoholic version all the sodas will cause too much carbonation!

Well those are my random weekly favorites, I hope you enjoyed this post.

Stay Beautiful,

J <3
