SkinCare Tuesday: Epicuren Clear Glycolic Face Peel

May 12, 2015

Hello Everyone!

Happy Tuesday! Today for skincare Tuesday, we will be talking about Epicuren Clear Glycolic Face Peel in 5%. I first learned about this product from my esthetician, and decided to buy it based on her recommendation and have no regrets!

Right off the bat, I want to say that this stuff is amazing. I wonder why more people aren’t talking about it.

According to Epicuren’s website, “This product is an alpha hydroxy exfoliating solution that boosts cellular turnover to mimic the rate of youthful skin.”

Glycolic Acid  is an “alpha hydroxy acid that exfoliates the skin by dissolving the intercellular glue that binds dead skin cells (corneocytes) together. It reduces the dead skin build up that is responsible for many common skin disorders. Glycolic Acid enhances the skin’s ability to bind moisture by activating the skin’s own Hyaluronic Acid. When using a Glycolic Acid, the skin will appear smoother, healthier, and more youthful.”

I gotta say that is product totally delivers. My skin has dramatically changed since incorporating the Glycolic Acid in my skincare. My skin looks brighter and feels a lot smoother.

I use this product like a serum at night only 1-3xs a week then apply my moisturizer.  Make sure to ditch the toner on the nights you are using this because toner  neutralizes skins ph, which is normally good. However, Glycolic acid works best on skin before it is neutralized. Of course PLEASE PLEASE wear sunscreen during the day, as Glycolic  acid tends to make skin sensitive to sun exposure.

—And for the best mini facial on the planet- use Glycolic acid then put on Epicuren Himalayan  Superfruit Enzyme Polish on top, leave on for 10 mins and rinse…….WHAAA-LA! Glowing skin in no time
