Skin Care Tuesday: Get yourself some Rosehip Oil

June 7, 2016

Hey Everyone,

Its been a crazy couple months, but I am back for reveal my favorite and super effective Skincare Tuesday.

Rosehip oil is seriously incredible. I have been using it for years all over my body and I seriously cannot say enough good things about it.  Rosehip oil has been around for  thousands of years from the times of the Ancient Egyptians and Mayans,  because of the healing property that it possesses.

According to a recent article by Huffington post, some of the benefits of Rosehip oil include:

-Non-greasy and super light
“Unlike heavier oils that are commonly used on the face like jojoba and shea butter, rosehip seed oil absorbs easily.”

– Natural acne and eczema treatment
Rosehip is naturally antibacterial and is an antioxidant, which is awesome for breakouts. “The essential fatty acids found in rosehip seed oil also work wonders for dry scalp and itchiness due to stress and chemicals in shampoo,” says  Joanna Vargas. “It’s what the skin needs for hydration and skin sensitivities.”

-Skin Firming
Rose hip oil is  a natural source of  skin rejuvenating properties like vitamin C, vitamin E, and essential fatty acids omega 3,6,9; “rosehip seed oil is a safer solution to repair the skin’s surface, restore elasticity and protects against sun and pollution stressors that can lead to wrinkles.” This is one of the  many reasons why Rosehip oil is great for stretch marks, cellulite, and wrinkles.

Rosehip oil is safe for many different skin types and can also help with pigmentation. For years now I have been using rosehip oil on my thighs for stretch marks, on my belly  to help lighten my appendectomy scars, and for the dark spots on my face. I am amazed by the results. I typically apply rosehip oil to desired areas like a serum twice daily before moisturizing. I love it because it has little scent and sinks into skin quickly.

Rosehip oil is best when  it’s pure, organic, virgin, and cold pressed.

Some of my favorite Rosehip oils are THIS, THIS, THIS, and THIS
