Weekly Delights 9.21.16 Let’s talk Fashion

September has to be my favorite month of the year. It’s the start of fall and of course it’s Fashion month. I have been streaming most the shows from NYFW, LFW, and today is the first day of MFW. So beautiful! And the street style is on another level. NYFW S/S ’17 trends have been beautiful vacation/ floral prints, stripes, ruffles, extreme crop/ bra tops, cold shoulders, sequins, and an overall 80s vibe. While LFW trends mostly consisted of slouchy silhouettes, sexy leg slits, asymmetrical hemlines, puffy sleeves, extreme metallic, and an overall goth flare here and there.

Although most designers were revealing their 2017 Spring collections, some designers decided show collections for Fall 2016.This “See Now, Buy Now” approach means that the collection are available to purchase right after the runway show ends. Tom Ford, Tommy Hilfiger, Burberry, Rebecca Minkoff, Alice and Olivia, and Thakoon have all decided to debut their collections in this approach.That’s awesome for many reasons, one of them being that they provided real inspiration for the current season that is still fresh in our head.
So I took some of my favorite items/ looks from my favorite shows and tried to find cheaper alternatives for those of us who aren’t Beyoncé. LOL
