Glossy Box October 2014 Review

November 4, 2014

Hello Pretties,

Today, we will be reviewing the October 2014 Glossy Box. Glossy Box is a monthly subscription beauty box containing 5 luxury samples. This box is great way to learn about new beauty brands and to try new products. So, as a self-proclaimed beauty junkie, I am in love.

This month’s goodies include:

Proganix- Anti-Fade Weightless Argan Oil+ UV Protection (full size $11.99)

“Spritz on this sweet-smelling blend of color-protectiong argan oil, antioxidant-rich cherry blossom extract and UV filters for a dose of shine and solar protections. ”

Proganix Anti Fade

I tried this product and I actually like it. I don’t color my hair, so I do not know about the whole anti-fade claim, but it smelled really good and did not dry out my hair.

Vince Camuto Amore Eau De Parfum (Full Size $78)

“Relive the feeling of falling in love with this limited edition olfactive homage to romance. Starring the ephemeral scent of fresh-cut flowers and fragrant fruits atop a base of comforting cashmere, rich amber, and earthly sandalwood.”

I actually liked this scent, which is a surprise because I think it is the first scent  I have received in a Glossybox that I have liked. It smells so fresh, sweet, with a  bit of warmth.

Sesha Botanical Hydro Mask (Full Size $9)

“Detox after a long day with this skin calming one time use sheet mask, which delivers extracts of moisturizing cucumber, green tea, and marigold.

Once I opened the box and found a mask, right away I opened it and put it on my face.  I loved this mask, it felt so cool and calming. After taking the mask off my face did have a new-found radiance and glow, unfortunately it was short-lived and did not last long.

Tarte Cosmetics Power Pigment in Awakening (Full Size $24)

Another win for GlossyBox and Tarte. I am a sucker for all things Tarte so naturally I was in love with this. The pigment  and formula were on point.  The color is pretty, more of a spring/summer color but regardless it was very pretty.

Nails INC. Westminster Bridge Matte Top Coat

OMG!- Real talk I have been on the market for a matte topcoat and  whadya know I get one in my Glossybox! Yay! I gotta be honest I have not tried this yet but I will have to do a matte manicure soon! 😉

All in all this month’s Glossybox was  pleasantly surprising because I liked all the products and can actually see myself using all of these samples.
