April GlossyBox Review

Hello Everybody,

I am back with another Glossybox review. GlossyBox is a monthly subscription that  provides customers, with 5 luxury samples for $21 a month.

This month’s box  is the pop art or “comic” girl themes which was pretty cool.

First thing, the box came with this cute makeup pouch as an extra item.

Then we have a deluxe sample of the Estee Lauder -Enlighten dark spot correcting night serum.

Description: ” this intensive serum that helps reduce the look of uneven skintone with a proprietary technology, which works on contact to brighten dark spots and impart moisture.”

I have heard great things about this product and have seen that it is very highly rated online. I am really excited to try this.

The Julep Gel Eye Glider in Bronze Shimmer (full size)

Description: ” clinically proven to last more than 10 hours, tthjis eye pencil has the color pay off of a gel liner. The waterproof formula glides on easily, sets in 30 sec, and then stays put, no matter the adventure”

This color is so beautiful – the camera did not do it justice at all

Very rarely do I get excited about a liner that is not black, but I tested this on the back of my hand the moment I opened the box and went to sleep with the swatch still on my hand, and the next morning, it is STILL there. Now that is staying power.  The color is absolutely gorgeous, and I am looking forward to doing a makeup look with this.

Marrakesh Endz: Split end mender and preventer (deluxe sample)

Description: “lengthen the time between your haircuts with this powerful blend of nutrient-rich argan oil, fortifying hemp seeds, and hydrolyzed wheat protein. It tames, repair, and seals damaged split ends.”

Maybe I am old school, but I think the only thing that can really fix split ends is a haircut. But I do believe in prevention, so this will be an interesting product to try out.

Aerin- Waterlily Sun (deluxe sample)

Description: “Welcome spring with a fresh, floral blend.This fragrance features bright Sicilian bergamot and lush dewy greens,balanced delicate waterlily, jasmine sambac, and warm musk.”

I have always wanted to try Aerin perfume. This smelled amazing! So floral and light. Perfect for spring. This is definitely coming with me in my bag.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Gloss in New wave ( Full size)

Descrpition: “The vegan, gluten free formula contains hemp oil, vitamin E, and peppermint oil. and leaves behind a reflective jelly feel.”

The best I can do in capturing this big gloss color- They were not joking with the shine!

I love OCC lip tars, so I knew that this product was going to be a treat. I really love the color. Perfect for spring/summer. I love that it is sheer and jelly enough to be worn over a lipstick but still so pigmented that it can stand alone on the lips. A definite Win!!
