Being a semi new mom (my daughter is 1 year and 3 months < but I will use her as my excuse for a long time LOL) I rarely have time to get a gel manicure or pedicure done. So while trolling my local beauty supply store, I discovered OPI Infinite Shine. Obviously I had to try it out for myself.
According to OPI website, Infinite shine is a “Hi-DEF gel shine without the light… wears up to 10 days.. and soak free removal.”
So here’s the scoop, I loved this. It applied exactly like a nail polish, was not too thick. It dried fairly quick, the shine and the gel effect was really evident. 1 coat was pretty opaque but I applied 2 just to get the full color. It came off easily compared to other “gel-like” lacquers (such as Vinylux by CND) They recommend the primer and top coat and I have noticed that the nail polish performs best when used with them.
Now I think the “10 day wear” was a bit of a stretch. Buut here is the thing, I cook, clean, change diapers and the whole shebang ALL day EVERYday so maybe I am not the best measure for this “10 day wear” but it did last a whole 3 days without chipping which in my book is a total victory! < #mommylife
Overall, I really liked the nail lacquer and I plan on buying many more colors.
