Tarte Tarteist Clay Paint Liner

I am obsessed with eyeliner. I think it is my favorite part of makeup. Today, I am reviewing the Tarte Tarteist Clay Paint Liner.

According to Sephora.com, this is described as “An innovative, waterproof cream eyeliner with a unique blending tip that is inspired by an artist’s palette.”

Packaging:

This was the thing that really intrigued me about this product. It comes in a  squeeze-able tube ala lipgloss. This was pretty tricky because you really have to be careful  squeezing it because it comes out all at once. The tip of the tube is flat and rounded which is really helpful with a cream product. It also comes with a bamboo eyeliner brush.

Formula:

The formula was a cross between gel and liquid liner. I actually really liked the formula, it was really easy to work with. The formula was smooth and very opaque. I was waterproof and stayed on throughout the night with absolutely no fading or flaking.

Verdict:

I really liked the formula of this eyeliner, the smoothness is really incomparable. The packaging was a slight negative for me, but I can work with it. The brush that came with it, isn’t my favorite for eyeliner application, I would rather use an angled brush. But overall the actual formula of the eyeliner beat out all the negatives of this product  in my opinion.
