Skincare Tuesday: Let’s talk Jojoba Oil

November 22, 2016

It’s officially Fall in SoCal and of course the weather turned cold so abruptly it left my skin looking like snake-skin. Time to break out the Jojoba Oil

Jojoba Oil is very similar to sebum – the natural oil that lubricates your skin and hair. “It can be used a substitute for sebum for people with decreased sebum production. It can also be used to remove excess sebum and build-up from the hair. It is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, non-toxic, and comedogenic. This makes it extremely beneficial for the hair, face, and the entire body.” (stylecraze.com)

It contains many beneficial ingredients,” including vitamin E, vitamin B complex, silicon, chromium, copper and zinc. It has a very high percentage of iodine at 82 percent, which gives jojoba oil its power to heal. It contains three fatty acids: erucic (13.6 percent), gadoleic (71.3 percent) and oleic (11.2 percent).” (draxe.com)

Along with moisturizing and hydrating skin. Jojoba oil is awesome for reducing wrinkles and helps with aging skin. Perfect for Acne prone skin, clogged pores, and inflammation. Helps with cracked skin and dark eye circles. For your body it helps reduce stretch marks, helps with dry patches, and prevent razor burn!!!! WIN!!!

In a nutshell, if you have skin problems put some jojoba oil on it! But seriously, check out Jojoba oil for yourself and as always please do a patch test to test for allergies.

These are some of my favorites THIS, THIS, AND THIS
